Around 30 correspondents of various Schools and College under Catholic Education Society of Udupi (CESU)/Catholic Board of Education (CBE) met for a brainstorming session on as to how to revitalize the Quality of Education in the Schools and Colleges under their care. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, the Bishop of Udupi opened the meeting with a prayer. Rev. Fr Lawrence D’Souza, the Secretary of CESU was the moderator. Msgr Baptist Menezes, the Vicar General of the Diocese of Udupi and the Vice President of CESU was present for the meeting. Rev. Fr Gerald D’Souza, the Secretary of CBE was the special invitee.
The Correspondents deliberated at length the challenges of present education system and discussed as to how to face them successfully. The meeting lasted for three hours.
At the end, Rev. Fr Clement Mascarenhas, the former Secretary of CESU was thanked and felicitated for his yeomen services to the CESU.
