On the occasion of decennial of Big J TV Channel “INCREASE” a four days revival meeting was inaugurated by Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac lobo at Basel Mission memorial auditorium, Udupi on 16th November, 2019.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi; Mr Jayprakash Simons, Chairman of UBMC Trust, Coorg and South Canara region; Pastor Ivan D’sons, Chairman of CSI Udupi District area; Pastor Gopinathan, President of Udupi District Pastors’ Association and Mr Prashanth Jathanna, Director of Big J Channel were present on the dias.
The programme started with a prayer service led by Pastor Gopinathan. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and addressed the gathering and said running any TV Channel is not an easy job. Big J TV Channel is spreading only good news. I congratulate Mr Prashanth Jathanna and his team as they complete 10 years successfully. Our Diocese also gives programmes in Big J which is called divyavani twice a week. The Bishop thanked Mr Prashanth Jathanna and his team and Big J TV Channel for free telecast. After his speech Bishop honoured to Mr Prashanth Jathanna on behalf of Diocese of Udupi.
Mr Jayprakash Simons, Pastor Ivan D’sons addressed on this occasion. Mr Prashanth Jathanna welcomed the gathering and Pastor K.V. Paul proposed vote of thanks.
