The Program began with the prayer song. Most Rev. Dr Gerald I. Lobo along with dignitaries inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. He addressed the gathering and said, "Women should come up with self-help groups and take advantage of them to come to mainstream society.”

Mrs. Pramila D’Sa welcomed the gathering, Mrs. Sunitha Mendonca proposed vote of thanks. Mrs. Sunitha D'Mello and Mrs Saira Quadros compered the program.
