John D’Silva Foundation Mumbai and Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh® jointly organized Prathibha Puraskar - 2018 and Scholarships & Health card distribution program at Udyavar church hall on 02nd September, 2018.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi; Dr. Ronald Anil Fernandes, Director, Karnataka Public Service Commission; Mr John D’Silva, Chirman, John D’Silva Foundation, Mumbai; Rev. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves, Spiritual Director, Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh®; V. Rev. Fr Stany B. Lobo, Chancellor of Udupi Diocese; Mr Valerian Fernandes, Immediate Past President of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh®; Mr Alwyn Quadros, President of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh®; Mr Vivian & Mrs Veronica Cornelio, Health card conveners of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh® and others were present on the dais.
The program started with a prayer service and followed by a prayer dance from children. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo lighted the lamp with dignitaries on the dais.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo gave inaugural address; Mrs Veronica Cornelio read out the Manipal Health card Statistics and Dr Ronald Fernandes gave the Keynote address. Mr Alwyn Quadros and Mr. John D’Silva addressed the gathering.
Dr Ronald Fernandes inaugurated the Manipal Health card of the year 2018-19 and symbolically distributed to one of the families of Udyavar.
On this Occasion, a student from each Parish of Udupi Diocese who has secured highest marks in SSLC and a student from each Deanery in CBSE 10th std and PUC (Arts, Commerce and Science) examination of the year 207-18 were honoured. Mr Oliver D’Souza selected for NCC National level period at Raj path at Delhi and Ms Venisha Tauro for education were honored for special achievements.
Mrs. Mary D’Souza welcomed gathering and Mr Maxim D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.
