Udupi Diocesan newsletter Uzvaad and Daiji jointly organized a Literary Training for young writers at Bishop’s House on 29th July 2018.
Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese; Rev. Fr Chetan Lobo, Editor of Uzvaad; Mr Melwyn Rodrigues Central Sahitya Academy winner Poet; Mr Stan Agera, Karnataka Konkani Academy winner story writer and others were present on the dais.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo inaugurated the training program by writing on the board and addressed the participants and said that in our community there are very few writers. Our community wants good writers to write in any news papers and he wished all the best for the participants and asked them to work hard.
Mr. Stan Ageira, Mr. Melwyn Rodrigues, Mr Wilfred Lobo and Rev. Fr Chetan Lobo conducted the sessions. Around 36 participants were present for the program.
