The Youth commission of Udupi Diocese organized for Young Catholic Students of Udupi Diocese three days residential village Exposure (Halli Jeevan) Programme at Marne village near Ajekar from 02nd to 05th April, 2018.
The inaugural programme was held on 02nd April 5.00 p.m. Most Rev. Gerald Lobo, Bishop of Udupi; V. Rev. Fr Joswey Fernandes, Dean of Karkal deanery; Rev. Fr Sunil D’Silva, Parish Priest of Ajekar and Karkal deanery youth director; Mr Dinesh Kumar, President of Marne Grama Panchayath; Mr Panduranga Naik, President of Lions Club Ajekar; Mr Gabriel D’Souza, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council of Ajekar; Ms Leena Mascarenhas, Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council; Mr Marvin Rodrigues, President of Udupi diocesan YCS; Ms Irene Noronha and others were present on the occasion.
Rev. Fr Edwin D’Souza, Director of Udupi Diocesan Youth Commission; Rev. Fr Amith Rodrigues; Religious Sisters, ward members and some parishioners were present for the inauguration programme.
Rev. Fr Joswey Fernandes inaugurated the three day residential camp by breaking the coconut. President of Karnataka Regional YCS/YSM; Ms. Hezal Martis spoke about how YSC movement changed her life. Rev. Fr Joswey Fernandes, Mr Dinesh Kumar, Mr Panduranga Naik, Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo addressed the gathering on this occasion.
Rev. Fr Sunil D’Silva welcomed the gathering. Mr. Marvin Rodrigues proposed the vote of thanks.
