Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese inaugurated SHARADHI Women federation of Udupi Taluk at St. Francis Xavier Church auditorium, Udyavar on 05th November, 2018.

Fr Stany B. Lobo, Chancellor of Udupi Diocese and Parish Priest of Udyavar Church; Sr Janet Fernandes, Director of Women Commission, Udupi Diocese; Mrs Janet Barboza, President of Sthree Sanghatan, Udupi Diocese; Mrs Hazel D’Mello, Udupi Deanery President of Sthree Sanghatan; Mrs Anitha Moras, Udupi Deanery Secretary of Sthree Sanghatan and others were present on the dais.
The Program began with the prayer by the members of women federation. Mrs. Hazel D’Mello along with dignitaries inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Lobo inaugurated the SHARADHI women federation by opening the screen on the SHARADHI women federation board. Then he addressed the gathering and said, "Women should come up with self-help groups and take advantage of them to come to mainstream society.”
Rev. Fr Reginald Pinto, V. Rev. Fr Stany B. Lobo, V. Rev. Valerian Mendonca, Sr Janet Fernandes, Mrs Janet Barboza spoke on the occasion. After the stage program cultural program was held by members of women federation.
Mrs. Hazel D’Mello welcomed the gathering, Mrs. Anitha Moras proposed vote of thanks.
