Young Students Movement (YSM) of Udupi Diocese organized Yuva Sangama at St. Francis Xavier’s Church Hall, Udyavara near here on Tuesday, 14th January, 2014.

After the invocation prayer song Rev Fr Raj Principal of St. Lawrence English Medium School Moodubelle traditionally inaugurated the Youth Convention along with dignitaries of the dais. Rev Fr.Dr. Rocky D’souza Parish Priest of Udyavara Church, Lawrence D’Sa Vice President of Udyavara Parish pastoral Parished, Rev. Fr. Edwin D’Souza Director of YCS, YSM & ICYM Udupi Diocese, Nikil Mathias President of YSM, Udupi Diocese and Sr. Precilla Headmistress of St. Francis Xavier’s Hr. Primary School were present on the dais.

 

 

 

 

 

 

During his inaugural speech Fr. Raj said that YSM could be Youth Strength Mobilize and called mobilize our youthfulness. He pointed out the importance of organizing youth conventions. Youths should have inspiration for others as leader of society which continuity of our life. Meanwhile youths should have unified to something bring new in the society.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rev Fr. Rocky D’Souza blessed and spoke during the occasion. Earlier Nikil Mathias welcomed the gatherings. Melissa and Leslita compered the programme while Justin proposed vote of thanks.

After the inaugural programme Shri. Various units of YSM members displayed their talents on the celebrations of various feasts of our local religions like Hindus, Muslims and Christians. Top three units were honored for their excellent play on different religions feasts celebrations. More than expected YSM members were participated during the Youth Convention. Under the leadership of Rev Fr. Edwin D’Souza Director Youth Commission of the Diocese guided and mastermind of overall development of youths in various programmes throughout the year which appreciated by youths as well as others.
