The Udupi Diocese successfully organized a seminar on the significant document 'Sacrosanctum Concilium' on October 11, 2024, at the Udupi Diocesan Pastoral Centre, 'Anugraha'. This seminar was aimed at the women religious of the diocese, focusing on the core aspects of this pivotal document of the Second Vatican Council, which addresses the reform of liturgy.

Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese, and V. Rev. Dr. Ronald Serrao, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary, Jeppu, Mangalore, graced the occasion. The seminar began with a prayer service led by Bishop Gerald Lobo, after which he introduced V. Rev. Dr. Ronald Serrao as the resource person for the session.

Dr Serrao presented an insightful session, utilizing a PowerPoint presentation to guide participants through the core principles of Sacrosanctum Concilium. The document, known for its role in revitalizing liturgical practices within the Catholic Church, was explained in detail, highlighting its continued relevance in today's church life.

The half-day seminar saw the participation of diocesan community representatives, who actively engaged in discussions, gaining a deeper understanding of how the document shapes their faith and liturgical experiences.

The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks, marking another milestone in the diocese's commitment to faith formation and education.
