On 30 June 2024, a YouCat training session was organized for the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) members of Udyavar Parish under the guidance of Rev. Fr Anil D'Souza, Parish Priest and Director of the Udyavar Unit. The aim of the session was to enhance the understanding of the Catholic faith and to encourage active participation in the Church’s mission. Rev. Fr Stephan Rodrigues, Assistant Parish Priest, was the resource person.
Participants actively engaged in discussions, sharing their thoughts and asking questions. They were also divided into small groups and asked to discuss a prominent topic and share their insights with the larger group. Overall, the training session was a significant step toward fostering a well-informed and active youth community within the Udyavar Parish. Twenty-five youths of the parish participated.
