Belman Parish Post-Centenary Silver Jubilee year was inaugurated by Most Rev. Dr Gerald Lobo at Belman on 11th April, 2018.
The Solemn Eucharist was celebrated with main celebrant Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo Bishop of Udupi along with V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro, Dean of Shirva Deanery; Rev. Fr Edwin D’Souza, Parish Priest of Belman Parish; Rev. Fr Lawrence D’Souza, Former Parish Priest of Belman; Rev. Fr Charles Noronha, Parish Priest of Palimar Church; Rev. Fr Louis D’Sa, Parish Priest of Mukamar Church; Rev. Fr Roy Lobo, Asst. Parish Priest of Belman Church; Rev. Fr Rosario Fernandes, Parish Priest of Mundkur Church; Rev. Fr Harold Pereira, Diocesan 18 Commissions Coordinator and Director of SCC, Religious Sisters and a big number of lay faithful.
A short stage programme was held at which Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Rev. Fr Edwin D’Souza, Rev. Fr Rosario Fernandes, V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro, Rev. Fr Lawrence D’Souza, Mr Dominic Andrade, Mr Alwyn Ageira, Mr Faustine D’Souza and others were present.
V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro inaugurated the Jubilee year calendar and distributed to the ward gurkars. He and Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo addressed the gathering on the occasion.
Rev. Fr Edwin D’Souza thanked everyone for their support. Mr Alwyn Ageira compered the programme. Fellowship meal was served to all those who attended the Jubilee inaugural function.
